²⁹ Then, fearing they would have fallen into some rough places, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day to come.

³⁰ Now as the sailors were about to escape the ship, and had let down the skiff into the sea, under a pretense of casting anchors from the bow,

³¹ Paul said to the Centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these stay in the ship, you cannot be safe!”
